Haefeli, Genève, rare small sized minute repeater, 36mm, 18K gold original HC with monogram initials to front, signed gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-shift-locking-LS, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 27-35J, gilt mvt, s#1020 within case. Comes as pictured with an unsigned fitted wooden box. Gross weight of assembled watch 29.9 dwt (46.6 g). A magnificent high grade small sized minute repeater; at 36mm diameter, this watch is in the realm of a typical smaller-sized pendant watch, and minute repeating pocket watches of this quality are quite scarce at this size. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, excellent gilt tone, few small micro-fine scratches, winding wheels with few small specks of oxide; visible portion of dial with hl below seconds-register near 6; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, small mild ding to band near 10, few pinpoint nicks elsewhere, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal. Box shows little wear, button latch good.
